Who are the terrorists? Israel or Gaza?
I watched a documentary on Sky1 last night about Ross Kemp in Gaza. A british reporter who goes into Gaza to speak with the innocent people of the state as well as the terrorists or freedom fighters as i see them.
He toured round the whole of Gaza to show what Israel has done to the infrustructure of the state. The war in January 2009 was to destroy the key areas that supported the terrorist group hamas…. Instead Israel destroyed schools,hospitals,civilian homes, presidents house and the Gaza Parliament building? How can that be destroying Hamas? Israel’s agenda was to destroy the economy of Gaza. They still have a blockaide on Gaza!!
I am not saying i am on the side of Gaza because in the documentary, Ross Kemp also spoke with the terrorists who said they will never surrender until Israel is destroyed and their lands are returned to them.
The way i see it is there are evils on both sides but the true terrorists are the Israeli government.

There was no such thing as terrorism in Palestine, and Jews and Muslims lived peacefully side by side, until European Jews had the brilliant idea that that land should be theirs and theirs alone (completely bogus in my opinion, the palestinians are genetically more hebrew then the european jew). The Palestinains resisted of course, they don’t want to be kicked out of their homes.
The Isrealis took Palestinian territory by force, rounded them in camps, denied them food, medecine, heat and power, oh and systemtacilly imprisoned and killed women and children, and then they claim victim when in the 70s the palestinans snap and start terrorism. The Israelis created Hezbollah and Hamas through their agression (and also funded them too, to create instability)…….
People say…what are the Israelis to do when they are besieged by terror? The answer? They are not besieged by terror, they are the ones terrorizing, the question is what are Palestinanians to do? They have nobody helping them.

"Mr. President, based on my knowledge and experience, I can say this: During Operation Cast Lead, the Israeli Defence Forces did more to safeguard the rights of civilians in a combat zone than any other army in the history of warfare.
Israel did so while facing an enemy that deliberately positioned its military capability behind the human shield of the civilian population.
Hamas, like Hizballah, are expert at driving the media agenda. Both will always have people ready to give interviews condemning Israeli forces for war crimes. They are adept at staging and distorting incidents.
The IDF faces a challenge that we British do not have to face to the same extent. It is the automatic, Pavlovian presumption by many in the international media, and international human rights groups, that the IDF are in the wrong, that they are abusing human rights.
The truth is that the IDF took extraordinary measures to give Gaza civilians notice of targeted areas, dropping over 2 million leaflets, and making over 100,000 phone calls. Many missions that could have taken out Hamas military capability were aborted to prevent civilian casualties. During the conflict, the IDF allowed huge amounts of humanitarian aid into Gaza. To deliver aid virtually into your enemy’s hands is, to the military tactician, normally quite unthinkable. But the IDF took on those risks.
Despite all of this, of course innocent civilians were killed. War is chaos and full of mistakes. There have been mistakes by the British, American and other forces in Afghanistan and in Iraq, many of which can be put down to human error. But mistakes are not war crimes.
More than anything, the civilian casualties were a consequence of Hamas way of fighting. Hamas deliberately tried to sacrifice their own civilians.
Mr. President, Israel had no choice apart from defending its people, to stop Hamas from attacking them with rockets.
And I say this again: the IDF did more to safeguard the rights of civilians in a combat zone than any other army in the history of warfare."

Both sides have terrorists. Both sides have people who want peace. Hamas was created decades after the "conflict" started. Both sides kill innocents. One side more than the other but that’s not what this is about. Yes, palestinians throw rockets. That’s unjustifiable. But what can a people do when they are illegally occupied, thrown out of their homes that their family have been living in for decades, get shot at every day – even children on their way to school, tanks everywhere on every road, when medicine cannot even reach hospitals, when food is not allowed to get in the territories or even water? There is a huge difference between a very poor people trying to "defend" itself against the "aggressor" and the very rich people who are being given billions of dollars by the USA to "defend" itself from the poor "attackers".
To Boomerang – Even though I agree with some of what you write I also disagree with some of it. Yes, Israel did send leaflets to notify the palestinians to get out of the areas where they would bomb. But how the hell were they able to get out of those areas when everywhere around was blocked? NOBODY could get in and NOBODY could get OUT of there. They couldn’t go anywhere. Yes, they did notify them but they knew they didn’t give them the slight possibility of leaving the area.
Mary – Yes, Israel has the right to defend itself. But they do not have the right to impose the same treatment to the palestinian people they received at the hands of the nazis. Gaza is the biggest concentration camp there is on earth. And yes, it is one. Israel has a right to defend itself. But so does the palestinians.

david there is no such thing as a Palestinian or their so called nation…there a interacting breed with the jewish people..jews are a religion not a race…there all the same mixed races from the 13 tribes for one is missing…Jews religion is in all ethnic groups needless to say..Hitler took care of that as much as he could..Its a religion..Not evils but history of conflict since the beginning of time..notice how pretty a palestinian woman is and a jewish girl are?? wisen up..a waste of killing for no reason.Some what like the irish catholics and wasps in their country…lets give it a break..One god one people wisen up before god changes things .

Israel was given BACK their land in 1948.
Israel belonged to the Jews for thousands of years.
You can watch lots of documentaries that can say anything, but Israel belongs to the Jews and has become a very rich and democratic country. They ARE the best friends we have in the Mid East.
They share much of their intelligence, medical technologies, and have the best military, (a ready army if needed) ….they share it with us.
These terrorists are finding out if you mess with the bull, you get the horn..
Israel has won every war they have fought in . Take for instance the six day war..Israel was outnumber 11 to 1 and they defeated the enemies surprise attack, in just six short days.
Israel does not cover their faces and blow theirselves and others up as the cowardly terrorists do. They have a perfect right to defend theirselves from the attacks perpetrated on them by these terrorists groups..
How would you like to be under attack every day by terrorists? What would you do to protect your children and families?

just how much support has gaza had from other arab states……and why is there so little support?
it is because they don’t want the trouble and expense the palestinians incur…most are happy to live on aid and have a history of terrorism….who wants that in their country?

Here are the true facts.Israel wanted more land and decided to launch her entire Air Fleet to make an UNPROVOKED surprise attack, using their newly built Mirage III fighters, built from plans they STOLE from the French, on the Egyptian Air Fleet on the ground, peacefully eating breakfast. Israel destoyed and slaughtered all. Syria and Jordan, seeing Egypt, their ally, attacked in such a cowardly, brutal, and murderous way, rushed to her aid, unprepared for such an attack, outnumbered with out dated quipment. They were wiped out. Israel STOLE the Sinai from Egypt(after 6 peaceful, fruitless years of negotiating to get it back from Israel, attacked in 1973, and, won it back), the Golan Heights from Syria, the Shebaa farms from Lebanon, and the West Bank and Gaza strips from jordan(created the palestinian refugee problem). All these countries want their occuoped lands back. Israel REFUSES. The Israelies proudly call this cowardly act , a PREEMPTIVE(fancy word for started it) strike.
