Good idea for a story, yes or no. Contains gay material. Very long.?
It’s at an all-boys school.

It starts with this guy named Xavier, who is obsessed with a boy named Danton. He stalks him, takes his picture without him knowing, leaves a river of anonymous notes in his locker, and watches him through the window at home. Danton is thoroughly creeped out, but does not say anything until he is home alone one day and he notices things that point to someone having been in the house (all his drawers had been looked through but nothing taken, the window open, etc.)

He tells his brother who is the same age as him, and his brother tells their best friend, and the two of them decide they’ll find out who this guy is and stop him. They do find Xavier, beat him to a nub, and threaten his life.

The next day, the entire school knows about what happened. Immediately, some students are concerned for "poor Xavier" who was innocent and victimized, and some students are taken by Luke (Danton’s brother) and William’s ( their friend) action.

When Xavier does not stop talking about his obsession with Danton, some of the other boys kind of join him. This is where it loses some of it’s sexuality, because it becomes more of a principal than a human fixation. Danton represents innocence, sweetness, almost perfection, and the boys, after listening to Xavier, see that and so many other things that they become obsessed with as well for so many reasons, only some of them sexual.

When the obsession becomes stronger and Danton begins finding more notes in his locker, begins noticing people staring at him, he gets scared and more people join Luke and William in trying to stop the "freaks".

It slowly escalates, and finally, there’s an attempt by a few of the obsessives to kidnap Danton. This causes an uproar. The students are suddenly frantic. Those obsessed with Danton (or the idea of having/obtaining Danton) have to show up to his house, tap on the bathroom window while he’s taking showers, etc. Those who are hell-bent on protecting Danton follow him around, buy his lunch, and are all around on the lookout.

It gets extremely violent as they set out to destroy each other, to stop the other "side". Luke gets shot, not killed, just shot in the arm. There are stabbings. Rapes. Three selective deaths throughout the story. All associated with gang violence by the police.

There’s a theme of the adults in the story being very uninvolved.

There is a scene where Xavier is talking about how he never wanted it to be like this, how everybody is greedy and evil and all he ever did was love Danton.

Then there are Luke and William, who were concerned for Danton, and are baffled by those who are also "concerned" because the others seem more interested in hurting "freaks" like the ones obsessed with Danton.

It strays from actual Danton, but never /really/ does because everything is kind of motivated by him.

After Luke got shot, it all started to unravel. More than half the student body was directly involved in this, and the rest knew exactly what was going on. Kids were genuinely afraid to come to school because of all the violence and terror. Of the three deaths, one was of an obsessive, one was of a protector, and one was of this innocent guy who went to school and said the wrong thing.

It ends with the very disturbed Xavier bringing a gun, killing Danton, Luke, wounding William, killing one of the higher-ups of the obsessives, and then killing himself to "end the madness".

At the VERY end, the adults in the story, who had been extremely absent, are seemingly clueless to everything (including the deaths) and are asking the kids to sit down and do some schoolwork. It’s the first time that there’s a scene in the classroom.

I think it could be very interesting, if you wrote it well enough to make it seem plausible. You would also have to do lots of planning with regard to structure, imagery, themes, characters and so on.

not bad.
has a bit of a manga theme to it though,
particularly with it’s revolving mostly around school/home
and having a small group of friends.

the plot seems a little weak here and there, but other than that it looks like a decent story.

for some reason some story’s become so much better when visually depicted.
and so personally i think it would make a better graphic novel than a plain novel.
so maybe you might have some one help you visualize the charters in the story.

Although this is a hard one, I actually think they picked right on this one. That rape scene with Jodie Foster..I liked that her character wasn’t necessarily super-likeable. She had issues for sure, but you wanted her to get justice.

Someone help me with a DVD problem?
my dvd player has played all my dvd’s just fine. then we get Fantasia 2000 in the mail and suddenly it wont get past the introduction. The screen stays black and wont skip forward, stop, pause, go to main menu, go back NOTHING it just freezes up. Thought it was the dvd, took it to moms house and it plays on theirs just fine. I exchanged it for a new one and it does the same exact thing! My player has played other DVD’s fine. My mom says she has a movie < Rush Hour 3> that does this same thing to only one of her dvd players. Whats the deal? Is there any way I can get it to work on my player?

How can I forget about the scary movies? I'm terrified! Help me!?
Two nights ago I saw Saw and The Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Beginning. Usually I’m good with scary movies – The Ring and Silence of the Lambs didn’t really faze me – but this was by a lake away from home in a dark room. During the day I’m fine, but last night when it got dark I got so petrified, and I don’t know what of, but I started vomiting and sobbing. It’s nighttime now and I’m getting scared again, that pittish feeling in my stomach.
So please help me, how can I forget them??? How can I stop being so scared!!!!! I’m home now, so it’s a little better, but I know I’m going to be very frightened again tonight. I have my icon and my Bible, and I’m gonna say prayers, but does anyone have any advice to get unscared and to help me????????? PLEASE!!!!!!!!
also, how can I forget them? The events themselves didn’t REALLY freak me out, but they’re spurring on the terror. HELP ME!!!

I stopped watching horror movies when I saw Exorcist. It was just too gross. So I understand some of this. It was years and sometimes I still think of Psycho when I am in the shower. Best thing is not to watch them ever again.

Next, to replace an image in your head, you must replace it with something positive. Sing your favorite hymn. Say a prayer for strength and for help. Turn on all the lights and put on nice music.

Call a friend and talk. But best is to sing a hymn and say prayers or read scriptures.

Think of this, and I don’t know where it is in the Bible, "God does not give the spirit of fear but of power" and love, I think it says. So you know God isn’t giving negative vibes or fear. You need to get in touch with the Holy spirit and ask God to take away the fear. Don’t mess with unholy things, no ouija boards or anything like that.

Think positive good thoughts.

Ok, first things first. Stop watching them hun.
Second, put it all in perspective. Remember it’s a movie, the people in it were actors and the places in it were sets none of it is remotely real. Go online and Google "Behind the scenes Saw film" and "Behind the scenes Texas Chainsaw Massacre" seeing the making of the films will help you see just how phony it really is, without all of the sound effects and such it is rather cheesy and not scary at all.

Ted tries to escape but King Cliff catches him and hits him with a nasty clothesline while Demon is hitting Business who is at the turnbuckle. Demon and Cliff go Face 2 Face and start exchanging punches when Demon punches Cliff it gets a mixed reaction and when Cliff hits Demon that gets a mixed reaction and then Ted and Risky take advantage and lay out Cliff and Demon, Ted hits Risky with a spinning unprettier for a 2 count
Ted then tries to hit another spinning unprettier but Demon clotheslines Ted straight into a rollup by Risky which Demon brakes up. Cliff sneaks up behind Demon and hits a Cliffhanger but Demon kicks out
Risky and Ted then start exchanging punches with the crowd booing every punch but when King Cliff and Demon break it up the crowd cheers. King Cliff hits Ted with a Muscle Buster while Demon hits Risky with a Backbreaker but Demon sneaks behind Cliff and gets the win

Risky is still feeling the affects of the attack earlier in the match and out comes Demon who comes out smirky and Cocky face on and Risky is focusing on Demon and Risky runs to the outside and starts beating on Demon but Demon fights back and pushes Risky into the post and starts kicking and punching Business and throws Risky Back into the ring Demon gets on the top rope and leaps onto Risky hurting his own leg in the process this could go either way as they are both hurt and Risky gets up 1st and clotheslines Demon both are limping and are struggling to get up and the crowd are loving this chanting THIS IS AWESOME!!!!!!! THIS IS AWESOME!!!!!!! and they are chanting 1ST SHOWS THE CHARM!!!!!!, 1ST SHOWS THE CHARM!!!!!! and Risky and Demon are struggling to get up and both hit a double clothesline and the Referee starts the count but both get up at 9 and start exchanging chops and punches and Demon gets the better and he hits a big boot to Risky for a 2 count the fans are loving this. Risky and Demon are putting on a great match but when Risky Goes for a bodyslam on Demon, Demon reverses and pushes Business into the ref and he finds a chain he hits Business with a Kendo Stick and tarts taunting the crowd this gives Business enough time to unlock himself and hit Demon with a Risky Powerbomb for the win.

Cat Pizza — What Do You Think?
I make it with alfredo sauce instead of tomato sauce, and then for toppings I add: small chucks of tuna, sardine bits, and anchovie bits.

The finished pizza can be tried out on people before presenting it to the cats. I recommend the neighbors children, during a TV watching Pizza Party, when the room is dark. And do not cram any pizza slices into the childrens mouths, at least not after they start screaming.

If the children tolerate the Pizza well, then you are ready to try it on the cats. You can add a bit of heavy cream as a final topping. Place the Pizza slices on small plates and put these on the front porch about 10 feet apart.

If you have the knack for making good cat pizza, you will find many takers among the neighborhood cats. Most will nibble eagerly at the toppings. Only a few cats will eat serious amounts of the crust. This is OK.

The crusts dry up and can be fed the to birds and the squirrels, who then get fat and delicious, and thus provide lovely dessert for the cats. Birds that are bubbadocious and tree rats that are lardy-butt do not escape all predacious cats of hunting prowess, like my beauty Diana-Meowy-Face, a true huntress of the yard.

I’m thinking that the fish related ingredients might be freeze dried, and the alfredo sauce could come in a mylar pouch, and the crust could be like a Boboli perma-crust. Cat pizza could be sold by mail order as a food item at Amazon.com. Also it could be a dry storage item at local markets.

There would be a little booklet showing how to make the Pizza, and how to stuff it into the mouths of children to test its quality, and how to present it to the local cats as their reward for being so aloof and filled with the dignity of good citizens.

Who is with me? I would like to sell this cat pizza product through the same marketing channels, including Emma the Trouble Magnet, (aka Machine Gun toting Highland Venus), who has always been splendid in marketing my products, like my new and improved God’s Balls Dogfood IAMSTHATIAMS.

Phew, for a mo I thought you were using our feline friends as an ingredient. As the owner of six totally indoor cats who live a very comfy life, with the average male weighing around 24 pounds, I think they would need a leaner version of the pizza. That being said, most of my cats eschew pedestrian fish but don’t mind a bit of poached salmon – as long as I remove the bones. It is very labor intensive. I also have cats that like peanut butter (the low fat version of course) and another that likes oatmeal. Perhaps you could incorporate some of those ingredients into your idea?

I am also a feeder of birds and enjoy watching the endless varieties vie for food, with the larger visitors being the occasional raptor who wants to dine on the feather or, the many squirrels who seem to operate in rowdy, thieving gangs. My overweight and lazy cats have no option but to sit at the window and chatter in a threatening manner while the squirrels come up to the outside of the window and do the squirrel version of "haha can’t catch me you fat moggie."

The thing is, most mini adults don’t like fish and it may be they would not be a good test group for your product. Perhaps we should try it on the squirrels as who knows, maybe they could be trained to become eaters of the piscine world. I can confirm they won’t touch home made cornbread, wholemeal bread and cake – at least mine anyway, so the crust may not be acceptable to the arboreal rodents with fluffy tails.

We know that cats are not interested in exerting themselves and generally take the path of least resistance. It may be your pizza will be too labor intensive for them to consider, but perhaps if hand fed by a mere human, it may be acceptable.

are monitor lizards good pets?
i want to be a herpatologist when i get out of high school and graduate college i have a few reptiles and am pretty experienced with them i am willing to spend a decent amount of money and have a ver large area in my room i can place it. but im not looking for a vicious animal i want something that can be freindly. i know that there are certain kinds of monitor lizards that can be pretty good pets i just want to know what i should be looking for and if its right for me

I would recommend a black and white Tegu (Argentine, not Colombian) if you can provide the space for a 4 ft. lizard. The Colombian can be very skittish and is smaller. It’s also believed that Argentine Tegus are more Intelligent which is why they will "tame" to handling much more easily.

This is not a lizard you can neglect. It will have a very large head and powerful bite. Babies should be handled frequently daily to bond with the lizard and keep it calm/manageable. Be sure to thoroughly research any reptile you are interested in and be sure you want to commit yourself to the lizard for its entire lifespan.

Monitors are intelligent but most require high heat and large enclosures. I don’t personally own a monitor but I have friends who do and they love them like children, even the ones that must be held off with a broom while cleaning. lol Be sure of what you are getting into. Research is the key.

i would suggest, 1st do the research and get some books on the specie that you wish to have, i think they make wonderful pets. try out a savanna, get a book on them, find a good healthy baby and as long as you take care of it right your lizard could live for a very long time….in the wild they can live over 20 years, a savanna wont really pass the 5′ mark and they can be easily tamed….
